About the Role

Research and Evaluation Officer is an ongoing, Part-time (22.5 hours a week) position based in Deakin, ACT.

The Research and Evaluation Officer, is to provide professional expertise and skills in research and evaluation methodology, research design, data collection, data analysis, and the interpretation and presentation of research and evaluation results to assist RACR achieve its strategic and operational goals.

To be successful in this role, you are required to possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in social sciences, such as psychology, health or behavioural science (N.B. post graduate research qualification or working towards same will be highly regarded).
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and conducting research and evaluation projects and/or research/evaluation-focused project management experience, in either a university, clinical or organisational setting.
  • Proven ability to select and implement relevant validated tools/scales to assess psychosocial, behavioural change.
  • Proven ability to accurately use social science data analysis software and to accurately analyse and interpret data results including identification of appropriate tests of statistical or clinical significance.

Salary & Benefits

The salary on offer is in the range of $76,956.36 - $81,997.24 per annum plus superannuation for full time. As a Public Benevolent Institution (PBI), RACR employees also receive tax-effective salary packaging opportunities, thus significantly increasing the value of your take-home pay.

According to the RACR Enterprise Agreement, the successful candidate will have access to generous leave provisions, annual leave loading, special paid leave during annual holiday shutdown period and flexible working arrangements.
