In the art work the open hands represent a sense of togetherness and the concept that you need 2 hands to clap. Working together no matter what race, culture, religion or community you come from is important for all cultures and communities to live in harmony. This art work represents all cultures and communities around the world coming together, but particularly in reference to the wonderful nation of Australia being one of the world’s most multicultural countries.
