Disability Support

We provide counselling and support services for anyone living with a disability; their families, friends and carers; and those working in the disability service profession. Our counsellors can help you to identify and talk about your feelings in a safe space.

Our disability support services were designed to support those impacted by the current Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disabilities. As the Royal Commission progresses it may bring up some strong feelings – we are here to provide ongoing support. We can also help you to tell your story to the Royal Commission if you wish to do so.

Support services are free, independent and confidential.

Our multi-disciplinary team work collaboratively and offer:

  • information and support about the Disability Royal Commission
  • trauma-informed counselling, including strategies to manage the impacts of trauma
  • assistance to coordinate access to other services including legal advice, advocacy, financial support, housing services and additional mental health services.
