Counselling for Children & Young People

Counselling sessions provide a caring and safe space for children and young people to express their feelings, build resilience and learn healthy ways for coping with challenges.   

Counselling is for children and young people aged 5 – 18 years, with sessions tailored to their developmental stage and needs. Sessions can be attended either individually, with a parent or as a family.

Our child-centered approach can support to:  

  • Strengthen family relationships  
  • Build emotional regulation skills
  • Cope with with life changes such as parental separation or moving schools
  • Navigate feelings of grief and loss
  • Anxiety, adjustment and school refusal
  • Talk about experiences of conflict in the family.

Location

Counselling for children and young people is available through our Canberra and Wagga Wagga offices.

Cost

Fees for counselling services are charged based on your individual income, ensuring accessibility for all people. 

To calculate your fee per session, please select your income band below.

Individual Gross Annual Income
Charged for client 'no shows' or when an appointment is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.
