Institutional Child Sexual Abuse Support

We provide trauma-informed support for individuals who experienced sexual abuse in an institutional setting as a child. Our experienced counsellors can help you to consider and make an application to the National Redress Scheme.

The National Redress Scheme was established to acknowledge the harm caused to child sexual abuse survivors. The scheme is an alternative to seeking compensation through a court process. It was established as a key outcome from the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.

As a Redress Scheme Support service provider, we can provide you with counselling support throughout your consideration and interaction with the scheme, if you decide to apply. We can offer:

  • information on the National Redress Scheme
  • guidance and support
  • warm referrals to additional services including legal and financial advice
  • assistance through the application process
  • help to understand the outcome of your application.
