Women: Choice and Change

An 8-session group for current and former partners who have experienced intimate partner abuse/violence.

The aim of the course is to provide women with the skills and understanding necessary to help them move forward in their lives. During the group, participants will have a chance to connect with others who have had similar experiences, to talk through their issues and to consider positive choices and strategies for the future.

The program can assist you in:

  • Understanding the impact of family violence
  • Dealing with grief and loss
  • Communication and conflict resolution
  • Managing your stress
  • Regaining confidence and self-esteem
  • Planning to stay safe
  • Equality in relationships.

WHERE: The sessions will run on Wednesdays at the Relationships Australia office, 15 Napier Close, Deakin.  No childcare available.

TIME: 12 noon to 2.30 pm.

DATES: 8 sessions 8th February to 29th March 2023.

FEES: This course is free of charge.
