Men’s Behaviour Change
Our Men’s Behaviour Change program supports users of violence to recognise and cease their behaviour.
Over 16 weeks, group participants will develop the skills and understanding to change their behaviour and develop respectful, non-coercive and non-abusive relationships with their partners, children and family members. Participants will develop peer relationships, supporting one another through sharing personal experiences and considering positive choices and strategies for the future.
The program explores:
- Respectful relationships
- Managing distress and anger
- Understanding the impact of domestic and family violence
- Accountability
- Communication and conflict resolution.
Participants can also access individual support to further develop relationship skills (some fees apply).
This program is run in conjunction with free family support services including Women: Choice and Change group program and individual support services for current or former partners, and support for children and young people impacted by family and domestic violence.
