Tuning in to Kids

The Tuning in to Kids group parenting program is designed for parents and carers of children aged 3 – 12 years

The evidence-based program provides parents/carers with emotional coaching skills, to support the growth of their child’s emotional intelligence.  Emotional intelligence can support children to:

  • understand and talk about their feelings
  • make and keep friends
  • better concentrate at school and extra-curricular activities
  • work through challenging experiences
  • behave in socially appropriate ways. 

 

Over 8 weekly sessions you will gain skills to:

  • understand your child’s emotions
  • help your child to reflect upon and name their emotions
  • support your child to problem solve and work through challenges or conflict
  • improve your parenting confidence.
