Our Women: Reclaim group program provides a safe and supportive environment for women who have experienced intimate partner abuse or violence.

Our program has been titled to reflect the essence of the program through the acronym: Recovery, Empowerment, Choice, Learning, Awareness, Identity and Meaning.

Over eight weekly sessions the group will develop the skills and understanding to move forward in their lives. Participants will support one another to talk through their experiences and to consider positive choices and strategies for the future.

The program explores:

  • Different forms of violence and control and how they may show up in relationships
  • Impacts of violence including trauma
  • Healthy relationships and equity
  • Communication, boundaries and conflict resolution
