Got Your Back
Got Your Back provides free care coordination and support services for young people, and their families, who have been impacted by family and domestic violence. Services are for young people aged 12-25 years old and may also extend to their family members.
Domestic and family violence is not just physical – it also refers to a range of power and control behaviours. Those witnessing these behaviours can be just as impacted as those experiencing it.
Individual & Family Support
Ongoing case coordination support can be provided through the Got Your Back program including assessment of safety, risk management and referral pathways. Our experienced team can support you at a place where you feel comfortable and coordinate a network of services and supports based on your needs.
This is a free service.
Got Your Back runs free weekly group sessions, providing a community and support for young people who have been impacted by family and domestic violence. Young people can connect with each other, share ideas and discuss the challenges they are facing in a safe, facilitated environment.
The Got Your Back group sessions offer a caring and confidential space for young people to take ownership of the group and choose what they wish to discuss. Groups are open and ongoing allowing young people the opportunity to engage as they wish.
This is a free group program.
Groups are run weekly based on location schedule. New participants can join at any time throughout the year.
